Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Advisory (IDEA) Board -Members Sought

Town Supervisor Moehle and members of the Town Board are seeking residents who are interested in volunteering on the Town's newly formed Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Advisory (IDEA) Board to identify and assist in the implementation of best practices for advancing diversity and inclusion in our municipal environment, to help create a Diversity and Inclusion Plan for the Town of Brighton, and help support and enhance Brighton's ongoing diversity and inclusion efforts.

The IDEA Board will also work in collaboration with the Brighton Central School District and its diversity efforts to help develop best practices in all areas associated with inclusivity, and work to identify and coordinate diversity efforts on a community wide basis.

The Town of Brighton believes that diversity is fundamental to all our endeavors and enriches the educational-and-human experience of our residents. We dedicate ourselves to creating a cultural climate in which all members of the community feel welcomed, respected, valued and included. Those interested in being considered for membership on the IDEA Board are asked to send a letter of interest along with a resume by March 12, 2018 to:
