Rabies Clinic

The Brighton Police Department's Animal Control Division helps coordinate and sponsor an annual rabies clinic, which provides free rabies vaccination shots for domestic dogs, cats, and ferrets. The date for the clinic is determined in late summer. In 2019, the rabies clinic was held on Saturday, October 5.

Dogs must be on leashes, and cats must be in carriers. Proof of a previous rabies vaccination is required in order to receive a 3-year booster; otherwise, a 1-year vaccination will be given.
