The Assistant to the Supervisor provides support to the Town Supervisor including the following:
- Plans, coordinates and implements public and community relations programs, services and events
- Manages incoming media requests and builds relationships with industry journalists
- Provides information to the public via news media and town communication avenues such as government information channel, web site and live community outreach
- Communicates with other government entities as directed by the Town Supervisor
- Arranges dedications, oath-taking ceremonies, news conferences, and other public relations type events
- Serves as Community Liaison to manage incoming resident complaints concerning code violations and/or other Neighborhood quality of life issues and concerns
- Manages Supervisor's schedule and itineraries
- Manages Town Board meeting agendas
- Attends Public Meetings and events on behalf of Supervisor when needed
