The Sergeant assigned to the Unit acts as the crime coordinator, identifying crime trends and locations. The Sergeant formulates a Departmental response to crime patterns, and also works closely with the criminal investigators during investigations.
A secondary role of the Unit Supervisor is that of Community Services Coordinator. Crime prevention presentations are offered to assist Town of Brighton residents. Requests for specialized presentations may be made by calling (585) 784-5110.
