About the Board

The Architectural Review Board has seven members, appointed by the Town Board for three-year terms. At least one member must be a professional architect licensed in New York State.

The Brighton Town Board is seeking applicants for membership on the Brighton Architectural Review Board.  The Architectural Review Board provides regulation and guidance for maintaining the quality of the exterior appearance of buildings and signs, for either new buildings/signs or modifications to existing structures.  The Architectural Review Board is comprised of seven members, appointed by the Town Board to serve three-year terms, and meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Any Brighton resident interested in being interviewed for membership should submit a letter of interest and resume by
