Brighton Town Court handles more than 10,000 cases per year, including 500 driving while intoxicated charges. Court personnel include two judges, four fulltime court clerks, and one part-time clerk.

Dispositions: Mondays at 2:30 pm
Arraignments: Mondays at 3:30 pm.
If Monday is a holiday, then Tuesday
Hearings and Bench Trials:
- 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12 Noon
- 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 1:00 pm

On-call Availability: one judge is on call at all times and available for unscheduled arraignments as needed
Whether or not you need an attorney to handle your traffic infraction is a personal decision that only you can make. If your license is in jeopardy based on the point system or if a traffic charge resulted from an accident, you are well advised to consult an attorney.
