Brighton Veterans Memorial
We are now in the final completion phase of the Brighton Veterans Memorial.

The Memorial which has been constructed within a serene environment at Buckland Park, not only provides visitors a place to think upon their own time spent in the military or those family members who are and have served in our Nation's Armed Forces, but to remember and honor those Veterans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.  With it's majestic eagle sitting atop large boulders with wings outstretched 10 feet in breadth, the Memorial provides an environment for visitors to sit and reflect.

Inside the adjacent Buckland Farmhouse, there is an electronic roster which contains the names of hundreds of Brighton Veterans or family members of Brighton residents, who served in our military throughout our U.S. history.

If you are interested in supporting the Veterans Memorial, you can send a contribution to:
Veterans Memorial, Town of Brighton, 2300 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14618.
Checks should be made payable to the Town of Brighton - Veterans Memorial.

If you would like further information, please contact Brighton Town Councilmember Jim Vogel at: or 585-784-5257.
