The Town Clerk / Receiver of Taxes is elected for a two-year term.
Duties Include:
- Collecting school taxes for residents who live in one of five school districts serving the Town
- Collecting Town and County Taxes
- Issuing a variety of licenses (marriage, dog)
- Issuing a variety of permits (fire alarm, door-to-door solicitors and others)
- Serving as the Town Commissioner of Elections as well as Records Retention Officer and Clerk to the Town
