Monroe Avenue Corridor Community Design Charrette
Process, Event Dates & Links

The Monroe Avenue Corridor Community Design Charrette and Vision Plan process provides Brighton residents, business owners and others concerned with Monroe Avenue's future with an exciting opportunity, with the participation of design professionals, landscapers, architects and town board members and staff, to identify the best uses and desired future improvements for the Monroe Avenue corridor in Brighton. The mission is to create a locally sustainable, vibrant main street along Monroe Avenue that supports and strengthens our commercial base and neighborhood character.  We encourage anyone interested to participate.  Please check this page for information as the charrette/vision plan process progresses.

To provide for public review of the comments made at the charrette and to offer an opportunity for comment for those who were not able to attend the charrette, a public meeting was held on Tuesday, July 27 at 7:00 PM at the town hall auditorium.  The public meeting was well attended, and numerous comments were recorded by the town's consultant to be considered in preparing the Draft Vision Plan for the avenue.

Check back on this page for updated information as the charrette process continues.
