Court System Brighton Town Court handles more than 10,000 cases per year, including 500 driving while intoxicated charges. Court personnel include two judges, four fulltime court clerks, and one part-time clerk.
Arraignments and Dispositions: Mondays at 3:30 pm. If Monday is a holiday, then Tuesday
Hearings and Bench Trials: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm
Small Claims: 2nd Wednesday and 4th Thursday at 4:30 pm
Traffic Trials: Periodically; call the court for dates
Jury Trials: Periodically; call the court for dates
On-call Availability: one judge is on call at all times and available for unscheduled arraignments as needed
